“With her open, caring and creative spirit, Leah nurtured in our granddaughter a depth and passion for her Judaism that culminated in a remarkable Bat-Mitzvah experience for our entire family.”

1-1 Sessions
B Mitzvah Tutoring
Mentorship for students of all ages with an emphasis on singing. Students learn to sing prayers and to chant Torah. Together with Leah, they craft a prayer ritual that is unique and authentic to their life experience and to the culture of their community.
“Any family looking for someone to make this milestone personal and meaningful and values-led should call Leah. She has a rare gift for meeting a family where it is and drawing out what matters most to them. And she is an extraordinary cantor on top of it and made the service sing (literally).” — Seth Green, parent
Therapeutic Healing Music
Leah meets one-on-one with clients who are seeking healing through music. These sessions can be active — learning to sing Jewish prayers or sacred folk songs to move through a challenging time. These sessions can also be passive — singing at the bedside to create a healing environment for someone who is ailing or transitioning.
This kind of live therapeutic music can be used to help regulate the heartbeat and ease anxiety and pain.
Private Music Lessons
Leah specializes in music lessons to promote healing and grow an individuals creative practice. She works with students of all ages. Leah prefers to teach songwriting, guitar/ukulele/piano and voice all at once.
Commissions
Leah writes songs to mark the passage of time and special moments in our lives. You can commission Leah to write a song that commemorates a special event, such as a birthday, birth, anniversary, engagement, building dedicated and clergy installation.
