Newest EP Release - “Rikud Ha’Or / Dance of Light”
“Dance of Light” is a 3-song EP recorded live in the living room of Leah’s childhood home. The EP was recorded on December 23, 2025. Leah arranged the music and composed the parts for her dad, David Cowen, to play on Cello. Sam Hyson joins the duo in violin and accordion.
This EP highlights Leah’s preference toward live performance and her work in Jewish music and prayer. The first song, “Mi Chamocha”, uses the original words from the Jewish liturgy. “Shalom Rav” is a creative adaptation of a prayer, with Leah’s English lyrics inspired by the Hebrew text. The final track is a high energy Klezmer-inspired setting of words from Psalm 27.
