When I was a kid, I remember walking around the track during recess with my grade school teachers and asking them for “song suggestions” so that I could make up a song for them on the spot. Growing up, I studied many different instruments, but focused primarily on classical voice. I also studied and performed poetry and in plays. Songwriting is a synthesis of all the performance arts that I have enjoyed in my life.

I started playing guitar in 2011 (I was 24! See, it’s never too late to learn a new skill!). Since then, I’ve released two albums, toured the coasts of our country, and played solo and with ensembles at some of my favorite venues in Chicago.

Below, you’ll find links to listen to my albums and videos of some of my favorite performances over the last eight years of my songwriting career.
